 Tragic Hoarding Collapse in Ghatkopar Claims Lives............

In a shocking incident that has left Mumbai in mourning, a hoarding collapse in the Ghatkopar area has resulted in multiple fatalities and injuriesThe tragedy occurred on Monday, following a dust storm and heavy rain.

The hoarding, which was reportedly 100-foot tall, fell on a petrol pump at the Cheddanagar JunctionThe collapse resulted in the death of at least 14 people and left 74 others injured2Among the deceased were Manoj Chansoriya (60), and Anita (59), relatives of Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan.

The incident has raised serious concerns about the safety and legality of such large billboards, especially in areas prone to extreme weather conditions. The hoarding in question was reportedly illegal, raising questions about the enforcement of safety regulations in the city.

The incident has not only caused physical damage but also left emotional scars on the victims’ families. Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, who lost his relatives in the accident, was seen attending the funeral.

As the city grapples with this tragedy, it serves as a stark reminder of the importance of stringent safety measures and the enforcement of building codes and regulations. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.
